The Neck

Bruny Island Tasmania. The stairs take you to a lookout, the walkway at the bottom takes you to a penguin viewing platform.
Unfortunately the penguins can stay awake longer than we can! It's daylight savings and twilight down here - not dark until 9.30pm...

@casablanca No - it's just that we can't stay awake long enough to to go and see them. They don't come into the shore until after dark - and we are asleep by then! We had great plans, as you do, to go and have a supper on the shore and watch them come out of the water and waddle up the beach to their nests - until we realised it wasn't until 10.00 pm that they came to shore! Too late for us!! :)
