Most unexpected....

Between Barkley Roadhouse and Tennant Creek - an inland sea, formed during the recent flooding.
A wonderful panorama. I hope the flooding hasn't been to destructive.

What an interesting panorama. No doubt the water will disappear again as we head to another dry spell.

@corinnec Hi Corinne - the floods did cause huge problems in the north - they actually cut the one main road for East to West by destroying a major bridge. The road is open again but only because they've build a temporary causeway. Thanks for your interest. Cheers Rob

@shutterbug49 Hi Debbie - the floods have certainly broken the drought in lots of areas, but unfortunately they also swept away thousands of cattle and caused havoc to a lot of native wild life. The weather is so unpredictable - very difficult to live with. Cheers Rob

@haskar Hi Hasker - thanks for your comment. What made those plants even better was that they were home to dozens of tiny fish - so odd in an area which is usually dusty and dry. Cheers Rob
