Kalbarri also has whales...

The inland gorges are matched by the spectacularly rugged coastline - and the visiting whales are a real bonus.... :)

Lucky you, the closest I've come to seeing whales up there is spouts in the distance.

Hi everybody. Thanks for your lovely comments. We were very lucky to see them so close to the land - there were several males competing for the attentions of a female - they were showing off like mad - right up close to the rocky waterfront.. Cheers Rob
