How nice to have these creatures as visitors! I have seen them at a wildlife park on the Isle of Man during holidays there. Some escaped quite a few years ago, and there is now a wild community as well!
@bluemoon Hi Paula - thanks for your interest. There are no real diiferences between roos and wallabies. The bigger, outback ones are the Red (male) and Grey (female) roos while the smaller ones are called wallabies and they can be found in a lot of different habitats. There are quite a few different types of wallabies, but they are all really cute! Cheers Rob
@fishers Hi Ian. That was interesting to hear. I don't know much about the Isle of Man but I was wondering if they had become a problem after escaping. They can multiple pretty quickly....
@rickster549 LOL - mainly strangers. Our house is quite a way from the front road and in a bit of a remote area. We prefer to not have unknown people just drive in for a look around, so we keep it shut. It's a bit of a security thing.. :)
