So... this was supposed to be a shot of lovely holiday lights at the zoo. Something festive, to get us in the holiday spirit. The lights were uninspiring. I had much more visual fun in the herpetarium. Luckily, there was thick glass between this venomous snake and my camera. I really enjoyed his focused stare.

He's a handsome chap and you've got the focus spot on, not always easy through glass. I think you made the right decision, the residents are much more interesting than the illuminations.
