Not your usual beach vacation... cold, windy, grey. We like it... lots to explore. The beach, in winter. These are my two kids, walking across the windswept sands at the northern end of the only road that leads up and down South Padre Island. One moving towards the ocean, the other one running back. Very remote, very windswept. Home to sea turtles and coyotes (we saw one today).

Fantastic shot. I do love the beach in winter. Although it will be a little too hot gor the beach here this weekend. It will be 42 degrees (107.6 Deg F). Not a good place to be when its that hot. I like it better in winter :)
