An interior shot of the Old Courthouse, a historical landmark of downtown St. Louis. Built between 1839 and 1862, this is the courthouse were Dred and Harriet Scott sued for their freedom from slavery, ultimately denied to them by the US Supreme Court in the landmark 1857 case. The architecture from this time is so lovely and the building is very well preserved. It's a treat to be inside.
