The oldest continually functioning covered bridge in New York, located in upstate New York, spotted as we were driving (like crazy) to and from Missouri, picking up our eldest from college. Built in 1853. I saw a car drive through, as I was trying to take this picture. Honestly, this shot was rushed, because I had two guys drumming their fingers on the dashboard. ;)

I just checked the location of this bridge...you were close to where I grew up! My great grand aunt used to wander through the area taking pics of covered bridges long long ago. This one is fabulous! So glad you were able to stop and capture the moment. I have a young man who often asks if I'm SERIOUSLY going to stop and take another picture! I so "get it"!!
@voiceprintz That is so cool! What a lovely place... So rich in photo opportunities. Maybe next academic year, we can linger longer. Last fall, we hiked Buttermilk Falls and the Ithaca Gorges. Next year... Ruined barns! :)
