Look what who I found, wading the streams of Forest Park (which is an urban park, so this was unexpected)! He was looking for dinner (see the other album, when he found some). He was focused on fish, so he let me snap away. I only had a few minutes, between work and home, so this was a nice surprise.
10/1/2020: Finished year 7 (!), with continuing gratitude towards this amazing community. Based in St. Louis, MO. Regular worker-bee and self-taught photography dilettante....
Very good, sharp and clear shot, technically, I would say, the better of the two shots, even though it does not have the action and prey. Lovely pose, too, of the Lesser White Egret.
