I hadn't been to my kids' old playground in ages. We walked by it tonight (on the way to copying my eldest child's passport for Monday's semester abroad).
This is the metal horse they rode, when they were toddlers in pre-school. Amazingly, my husband rode it too, when he was the same age. Lots of memories, which are especially sweet as we get ready to be empty-nesters next week.

@jgpittenger Five! What a crew... I am sure you appreciated (at least a little bit) some rest. Yes.... it is bittersweet, but the right thing at the right time, I think.

Wow, such family history at this playground. So unusual to see these older playgrounds. Many have been transitioned to the new type. Good to see this one! Are you ready for empty nesting?? :)
