Five of these annual half-marathons now done. If you had told my forty year old self that I would be running this distance on the north side of 55, I would have choked on my wine in disbelieving laughter. ;)

Shambling off to the ice packs, though. Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate it, very much.
Good for you, Rosie!

Congratulations! Love the image of the arch in the background. The banner looks like it's floating.

I am very, very impressed Rosie. Wotta woman!! I was struggling to keep up on the walking tour I did yesterday. Love the atmospheric photo.

Oh, good for you, Rosie! My 60+ year old sister began walking a marathon through sand dunes to honor the victims of WWII Bataan Death March. The first year, she lost her toenails. What a beautiful day and city to run in for you!

@cejaanderson Lost her toenails??? That is dedication. Amazing. I don't think I am there for that one... congrats to her.

Congratulations to you!! I'm SO impressed!! I couldn't run at the moment if my life depended on it (well, maybe if my life did...but otherwise...). That's fantastic and so good for you! Great celebratory shot.

Good for you Rosie, great picture. For the record last 26.2 I ran I was knocking on 53. If I can do it I know you can.

Wow... you're amazing! I ran 5.5km on the treadmill today and was near death at 46! Fabulously composed shot!

Good for you and a great shot to go with it

@trm Oh, amazing! I am feeling every inch of my age today. Good for you. I was happy to turn right at the "half marathon" veer today. Time will tell.

@taffy Icing a knee, darn it, but happy to get this one done. It was an anniversary. I am probably going to pay for it later. ;)

Congratulations, Rosie. Great photo to commemorate your impressive FIFTH half-marathon!

Wonderful colour. Congrats on your 5th half marathon. I would happily walk the distance but I doubt I would be able to run for more than a couple of kilometres!
October 19th, 2015
Congratulations Rosie - I did a 1h 41m half when I was 55 - 16 years later I'm a lot slower! Nice souvenir shot.

@vignouse Wow... nice time for that distance! I'm a lot slower now! ;) I just hope I am still out there doing anything in 16 years. Good for you.

Looking at this beautiful photo and reminiscing again, but not about running marathons! I'm so impressed with those who do it, and thusly, with you! I try to put a little spring into my step (as in "running"), but since my spill in May, it's just not happening *yet*!
October 20th, 2015
Wow, north of 55 and doing marathons. A big congratulations to you!

Congrats Rosie, and love the sky in this shot.
