Practicing on how to shoot a number of shots in a row, across the landscape, to combine in one shot. Hence, this offering. Obviously, still a lot of learning on the agenda. :)
This is the Grand Basin in Forest Park, St. Louis. View from the Art Museum, up on the hill, looking down. I am at the feet of the statute of St. Louis (unfortunate husband of Eleanor of Aquitaine)... skipping the history nattering.
Photoshop is a wonder... any credits for this shot are due to the algorithms which inhabit that program.
Thanks for your kind comments on my shot of the Arch, on its 50th anniversary. This is a generous community... thank you.
10/1/2020: Finished year 7 (!), with continuing gratitude towards this amazing community. Based in St. Louis, MO. Regular worker-bee and self-taught photography dilettante....
@taffy This was just letting the software do its thing... you are in WV and we are preparing for London. Lots of traveling! I am hoping to get a pano of London's horizons, but this is just practice, to see if it will work out. Enjoy your WV trip. :)
@rosiekerr We're in Tennessee, and having a great time! So fun when photographers can get together (and also hang out cooking food and processing photos from the day).
@pistache Yes... bringing the EM-1. :) Leaving tomorrow. My eldest is having his semester abroad right now, so we are going to put eyes on him, visit and see some local sights. Very exciting! :)
