Fun with food. Every so often, I try to walk myself through a Photoshop exercise, so I can get more functional with this program. Half the time, I have no idea what I am doing. ;) Oh, well.

Oh wow, cooler than cool Rosie. I really like this image a lot, gotta fave it for originality and visual impact. This is a new technique to me, would you mind posting the link please?
Have to fav -- I love the result, but even more, it's inspiring that you do the tutorials. I keep putting them off and this is my PS year to learn to navigate it!
Love your funny commentary! Who knew that this was an exercise they'd posted?! What fun! Actually, it seems a very nice composition and a lovely image! (I'd love to do a pair of fruit images as I think they'd look cool on a kitchen wall!)
@golftragic Sure! Once I get home from work, I'll rummage about. You can also do a You Tube search for "pixel dispersion effect." There are a ton of them out there.
@golftragic@pistache Hi, all! Here is a link to the You Tube tutorial, which I used to create this image. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCpwRjnjv5Q Some sticky parts involved loading the square brushes, at least for me. I had to pause the tutorial and do a new search on this part, just so you know. I hope you find it entertaining, if not helpful. :)
Another fun edit. I am slowly plugging away with my b&w course, but have decided to slow down with it because a lot of PS is involved so I know just how slow going it can be.
Thank you so much Rosie. Might carve out some time this w/e to have a look! @ukandie1 Andie @ukandie1 I looked up your course after you mentioned it, and would love to do it, but just don't have the time right now. Will be very interested in your updates though ;)
It looks complicated!
