After yesterday's awkward pose of a potato in a state of modest undress, I felt the need to shoot something that is actually pretty. Off to the "The Butterfly House," a branch of the Missouri Botanical Garden, an especially fun place to visit in wintertime. Those little guys flutter pretty fast! I was pleased to catch this one at rest on a leaf. You can see his proboscis, curled up in a circle.
