Train Station to Nowhere by rosiekerr

Train Station to Nowhere

A train station, from historic St. Charles, Missouri - site of the Lewis & Clark departure up the Missouri River. This building dates from the late 1800's. It was kind of fun to see it, reconstructed at the local park on the banks of the Missouri River (which you can distantly see, on the right). No rails run by it - strictly for historical value.

Thanks for taking time to stop by. As always, I appreciate the gift of time.
And a perfect composition and pov

Wonderful architectural image and nice to know people cared enough to protect the historical building. I love the long long long look of the porch/railing.

Very well captured. Lovely old building , you can easily imagine people milling around waiting for the steam train to pull in!

Glad to see they moved it instead of tearing down the historic building. Great shot of that wonderful porch.
