Hanging Around

My daughter and I found this cicada shell hanging from a plant, still in place from an earlier shedding. I have a fascination with these shells and was pleased to find one "in place," as it were.

Love this shot, it reminds me of my childhood. We use to collect cicada shells and hang them on our jumpers.
