A little something for the mundane garlic challenge. Our clove is reclining on its side. It looks like an inch worm, creeping along... or maybe a swimming fish?
I was pondering using it for the abstract garlic challenge, too, but I think the notes say that you aren't supposed to recognize that the subject is actually garlic.

I think if you would flip it 90 degrees to the left and crop it so that it is entered - it would very well be a great entry for the abstract garlic. It will be more reminiscent of some architectural detail or a statue.
I love this!! Jim just bought two bulbs of garlic (not for photographic plans) and I've been thinking of what to do with them. I wish I had done this one!! Instant fav.
@vera365 I'll take a look at that angle, thank you. Isn't that funny... I did invert one, in the angle that you suggest, but it didn't jump out at me... maybe it was my crop? Thanks again.
Oh wow, your signature focus and creativity! I wish the mundane would just include abstract as one category! I'm whining and will stop. I love this so much.
Thanks for joining in with the challenge. I really like lighting and reflection.
I've just been made aware that we have previously had a garlic challenge. So could I please ask you to change your tag to
mundane-garlic2 so that I don't get mixed up when selecting the finalists. Thanks
