At game 7 of the Stanley Cup, watching the St. Louis Blues play the Boston Bruins in Boston for the Stanley Cup. We’re in Busch Stadium, with several thousand prayerful fans in front of the jumbo-tron screens. St. Louis has never won this, in the fifty-something years of the franchise.
May the best team win. Holy cow.
Their informal theme song is the 1980's pop hit "Gloria," by Laura Branigan (for god's sake).
PS. They did it. Amazing. What a party. People have been waiting 52 years. The longest wait in NHL history.

Yayyyyy, always good to see the underdog win, unless of course it's your team that lost. Great atmosphere in this photo, you've really captured the feel of the night.
Not every one is happy with the results. We are feeling sulky in New England to be denied our third Parade for sports in a year. Oh well the Patriots and Red Sox pulled it off. I was delighted to see you hadn't won in 52 years - reminds me of the Red Sox when they won their first World Series after a lengthy draught.
