Cactus

A barrel cactus, offered for the "Flash of Red" b&w challenge in February. Can't miss a day on this. :) Traveling to visit family in Phoenix, AZ, over the holiday weekend, so not much time for commenting.

Oooh, I love the detail -- sharp, sharp, spikes. Great composition. Did you realize/intend that you posted B&W in this album and color in your main flash of red month for the 12th and 13th? If you didn't mean to you can switch them.

@mcsiegle Thanks for stopping by. You know, I did realize that. I kind of messed up my flash of red for the month, but I wanted to make sure that the Southwest Sunset was in my main album because it had sentimental value (visiting family) and I was worried that it might get lost in the secondary album. Weird, but oh, well. :)
