And I think he was thinking I shall give her a chance to walk upstairs and get her camera because that other thing she was pointing at me didn't seem to be doing any good! He sat there long enough for me to do this so I think he was very thoughtful.
I have been trying to free up space on my laptop's hard drive but despite deleting practically every file on it, it still says that I only have 9 GB of space left. I have spent ages transferring all my files to the new portable hard drive (2 TB) to free up space so I can't understand what is happening. Perhaps it doesn't actually delete the files but they hide somewhere - I'm sure I don't know. If there are any PC geeks out there, please enlighten me because I don't seem to have achieved anything.
In the meantime, if you have the time please have a look at this against the black background and thanks for all your kind comments & Favs - it is always much appreciated.
Beautiful capture.
I know that when I save to my external drive, it saves a copy and doesn't actually take anything off the laptop. I have to do that manually.
@pixiemac Yes I've emptied the recycling bin and I've deleted loads including some apps that I don't use but it still says I only have 9 GB left! I can't understand it.

re your PC if you have been deleting lots........have you emptied your recycling bin? I forgot and it freed up loads
Download ccleaner:
CCleaner - Standard
On the "Cleaner" tab click "Analyse" and then when it finds a load of stuff that can be deleted click "Run Cleaner" to delete the files.
Also can use the Windows disk cleanup utility:
On Win7 it's under System Tools\Disk Cleanup or something like that, it's fairly obvious what to do to clean up (use Google if help needed).
On Win10 just type "disk" and the program will be displayed.
Hope that makes sense. SARAH X
