Peeping by rosiekind

Peeping

It's always a job to get a good photo of Bas when he's in his cage as he tries to escape and I didn't want him to come out before I had uploaded my photos. He usually comes out 3 or 4 times a day and has a play with us. When he's in his very big cage, he busies himself tearing up cardboard from the box in the bottom of the cage. He spends hours doing it and likes to be busy. When you go into the conservatory, invariably he will go into the box and peep out as he loves playing peekaboo! He has the brain of a 3 year old child so he's quite bright and I wish I could find a bicycle for him to push along with his beak because I know he would love it. Instead he tends to push wooden door stops along but if we aren't looking he likes to tear it apart!

Thanks for getting my swan and chaffinch pics on PP yesterday - it really is much appreciated.
He sounds like quite a character

Is he a Sulphur crested - am I dreaming or did I see him moulting?

@rookynook he's an umbrella cockatoo and I should think it's because he likes to put his wings over you LOL
