This is my daughter Claire and her husband Steve. They learnt to ballroom dance in 8 weeks and managed to get lots of people to sponsor them as the money they raised was for Cancer Research. They raised £1,300 which is great and Bedford was the first Ultra Ballroom to take place in the country. In total so far, Bedford have raised £7,000 for the charity which is so worthwhile. I was very proud of them both.
I am rather behind with everything as I have had a busy weekend - the ballroom dancing followed by a 50th birthday party on Saturday and yesterday I went with the Camera Club to take photos of a lovely village in Hertfordshire - Ashwell. It's a beautiful village and we all sat down to lunch at 3pm so I didn't get back until nearly 6 pm. The weather was perfect and it was great to spend some time with my photographic friends.
