Fish for dinner

Well that makes a change!!! I think this is Betsey and the kingfishers are still feeding youngsters in the nest. They have been very mean with their appearances today and it was a shame because Sarah @pixiemac came over especially to see them. It wasn't until after lunch that we finally got to see them a few times. Such elusive birds!

They sure do a lot of fishing to feed their young. How long does it take for the chicks to leave their nest Rosie? A fabulous shot as usual, fav!

@ludwigsdiana It's usually 24 or 25 days but if there is a poor supply of fish it can be up to 37 days. However, judging by the fish I have seen Bluey with, I think they must be due out soon.
