I saw this lovely peacock butterfly up at RSPB this morning. It's a good job that I did because I didn't see anything else of note. I often ask myself why I bother to go up there as I have more birds in my back garden. However, I walked round the Buzzard Trail and it's a pretty long walk with a nice valley below but a steep hill to climb on the way back. It's good to have a walk.
Thank you for getting yesterday's wren and ruddy darter on PP and for all your kind comments and Favs. It is always much appreciated.
it has been our experience that there is often very little of note to be seen, but it is definitely a lovely place to walk. The peacock made a good capture.
