We discovered that this pigeon had a nest in the conifer hedge which is just over the fence in our next door neighbour's garden. She just sat there on her eggs while I took a number of photos of her and I could have almost reached out and touched her.
Lovely capture! I had a pigeon's nest in my apple tree last year and she raised two youngsters.Just managed to get a shot of them before they flew the nest.
@carolmw They started nesting in the conifer next to the conservatory but obviously changed their mind and we didn't realise they'd got a nest until my hubby spotted it yesterday
