This is a view from a secluded park around one of the Finger Lakes. Behind me and to the right is where the reed beds are and where the reed warblers are chirping about. I gave up trying to get a picture of them as I only had my bridge camera with me and also they weren't playing ball. I liked the purple loosestrife on the left of the picture and knew that I must include it as I think it frames the picture nicely. The reflections on the lake show the blue sky with puffy clouds
Lovely scene. Is your purple loose-strife taking over your marsh areas? They have been trying to eradicate it, with little success I think, ever snce it found its way over here.
