I had filled the feeders up yesterday and this little blue tit decided to take advantage. The nuts only get filled up every few days as they don't get emptied quite as quickly as the seed feeders. I have 2 nuts feeders, 4 seed feeders, 1 nyjer seed feeder and 2 suet ball feeders so they do get pretty well fed here. When it gets a bit colder I shall incorporate another suet block feeder into one of the trees to try to keep the starling flocks away from the little birds. I also have the bird table and the sundial where I put song bird seed, suet pellets and raisins for the blackbirds, thrushes and robins. I am really pleased that the thrush seems to be a regular visitor as they are very much in decline.
