I often pass this butchers shop although they sell more than just meat. I was fascinated by the chandelier type lights hanging up - it's not what you expect in a butcher's shop. My daughter goes there to buy different kinds of meat such as rabbit -she's more adventurous than me although I remember cooking rabbit once when they were children and pretending rabbit was chicken. Claire said that she wouldn't eat rabbit and Matthew certainly wouldn't as he had a toy rabbit that went everywhere with him. When we lost him in Bedford, he was distraught and although I gave him another one exactly the same although new, he didn't like it because it didn't have his smell on him! He had a pink ribbon on his blue rabbit which he used to twiddle round his face while sucking his thumb to go to sleep. It's funny the things you remember about your children.
