I was sorry that I hadn't got my main camera with big bertha on it when I saw this little wren but I managed to get some shots but I haven't worked out yet how to set it to single point focus. I shall have to look in the manual that I've downloaded. I need to familiarise myself with the controls and I do find it a bit frustrating having to open the screen to see what the settings are but I've given it a fair outing this morning I think.
Wrens are very shy and flit about when you do see them so I was pleased to get a few shots of the sweet little bird. They sing so beautifully too and it's amazing how loud their voices are for such a small bird. I didn't see the goldcrest this morning. I shall post a shot of the partial eclipse in my Even More album
These pictures are fantastic Rosie. I'm so envious. We have no shortage of wrens in the garden but they're incredibly difficult to photograph. We have a pair nesting just outside the office window so I'm a bit hopeful of getting a photo during the next few weeks. We'll see!
