I used to love this car. It was my MR2 which I had to give up in 2001 due to my back problems. I wish I still had it. Following my operation I have been able to cope with getting into a low car (Steve has a BMW Z4) although it probably wouldn't have been wise to get in and out of a car this low every hour of the day when I'm carrying out my visits. It was a great car to drive and I knew when I sold it I had to find something equally as fast and comfortable. Don't get me wrong, I don't drive everywhere at 90 miles an hour but having a bit of poke can get you out of trouble if you need it. My Golf GT TDI is a good second best!
This is actually a photograph of a photograph as I came across it when I was having a bit of a tidy up.
oh, Rosie, i understand, i used to drive an MG Midget and miss it very much but sold it when i was put on seizure meds and was not ready to drive for some time. now, am getting back on the road and wish i had it. this is a great shot for a picture of a picture. love how you describe your driving!
It is an amazing looking car and must be poignant to look back on those days. I used to have a red Maxda RX7 sports car and loved driving it. It's been years...
