A walk along Ford Lane by rosiekind

A walk along Ford Lane

I thought that I would take a look down the lane where I used to walk with my friends to the river. However, everything has changed so much and the lane doesn't allow you to go through a gate and walk across the fields to the river. The owners of Lock Cottage have obviously bought some of the field and have had it fenced off with loads of trees and shrubs growing. Where I did manage to walk was a completely different path through the grass and it is part of a public footpath as you can see from the image top left. I zoomed across the river to get a shot of this girl walking in the field on the other side. Top right is a quick shot of a meadow brown (?) butterfly and bottom right are some strange looking cows in a field. Bottom left, although it looks very pretty, I think is Japanese Knotweed which is the curse of everyone as it does so much damage.
I feel like I'm on the walk with you!

Lovely collage, but you can never really go back can you. Back is never there when you check it out because so much changes.
