This blackbird was among the sloes. I wonder whether they eat them as they like sultanas which are sweet but sloes are really bitter. Perhaps they like sweet and sour!
The background suits the blackbird very well, whether or not they eat them. I always think of sloes being bigger than that - perhaps I'm confusing them with damsons.
