The people who have bought Lock Cottage obviously want their privacy. When I was a child, we used to walk down to the cottage which used to flood in bad weather. My grandpa wanted to buy it but my Mum persuaded him not to due to the flooding. However, since those days they have put in a new lock and rerouted the river so I suspect it doesn't flood any more. I can't help wondering what it looks like as it was a lovely old stone cottage with roses growing round the door.
