@annied yes it is a succulent. Very prolific and declared alien in South Africa - supposed to remove all plants and destroy them. From personal experience, removing them from your garden can take years. I am still finding them popping up after nearly 10 years! I have put some links to more info on the plant - first one relates to Australia, second one to Africa but also gives full descriptions of the plant.
@salza thanks Sally - yes succulents do tend to be quite proflic and hard to eliminate - have one here - which I do like but it pops up everywhere hahaha
