oh how lovely - I don't think I have seen one before - is it a succulent?

@annied yes it is a succulent. Very prolific and declared alien in South Africa - supposed to remove all plants and destroy them. From personal experience, removing them from your garden can take years. I am still finding them popping up after nearly 10 years! @salza thanks Sally - yes succulents do tend to be quite proflic and hard to eliminate - have one here - which I do like but it pops up everywhere hahaha
