One Night Stand - Street Photography
This is our main street after lunch on a Saturday afternoon, much quieter on a Sunday and not much busier during the week! The Groot Winterhoek Mountains are in the background.
I debated removing the electric cables that cross the picture but they carry flashing Christmas lights and remain there all year. They get turned on during December and again towards end of July when we have a 'Christmas in Winter' festival.
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.
Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
i miss living in a city with mountain views. when i used to live in muscat we have eight lane carriageways and hills and mountains around us. bare mountains but it made for nice views every day. this is great, sally.
I think in this shot they are not distracting but a part of what you see on a daily basis. It was a good choice to leave them in. What a gorgeous view!
