Hi partner! Thank you for the challenge. I've had a look through your albums. You have a wonderful variety. Your challenge is to take a black and white photo. You can do this in camera if you'd like. Here's a link to you manual: http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/3/0300029803/01/eosm50-um-en.pdf
and the black and white setting is on page 95.
I don't know if you are shooting in JPEG or RAW, but if you are shooting in RAW you can still do the conversion in camera. The camera will create the black and white image as a JPEG while still saving your color RAW image. That is on page 249.
Of course, you do not have to do this in camera. You can convert during editing if you'd like. You mentioned that you don't do much editing, so I wanted to be sure you found a method to do the black and white. If this doesn't work and you'd prefer a different challenge, just let me know and I'll set another.
@aecasey A good challenge to dive into my manual. So glad I'm not having to dive into an editing process. I'm not at that stage yet.
