You know - never in my life had I heard of a totara tree - but life just seems to be connected in so many mysterious ways. With there being nothing worth watching on television (in our opinion anyway) we set our machine to record 'Grand Designs' and it also recorded the NZ programs without us realising. Anyway - last night's recording featured a couple building a 3 storey house next to a swamp surrounded by (yes you've guessed it) Totara trees! How bizarre is that??
