Tongariro, Ngauruhoe and Ruapehu are the mountains in the volcanic centre just south of Lake Taupo, taken from the north.
I have always found it difficult to identify the difference between Tongariro and Ruapehu. They both have flat tops on them. Tongariro is the widest at the base where Ruapehu is the mountain most north.
