Like I said yesterday, the School of Ballet where Michaela (my only grand-daughter) has now been attending for the last 3 or 4 years presented a ballet show based on the Peter Pan musical. All the members of the school took part, starting from the tutors up to the littlest toddler – altogether the cast included some 250 or 300 dancers. The production was beautifully organised and we enjoyed it immensely. I took some pictures while watching the show – discreetly and without using the flash. It was difficult because the lady in front of me kept moving her head to one side and the other (naturally to get a good view herself) and me, not being tall, had a hell of a job to take the pictures. In the 2 collages which I am posting – one today and the other, hopefully, tomorrow, I have tried to show a few of the scenes. I admit I still have a lot to learn about taking shots like these but in the circumstances I think the result wasn’t as bad as I had expected.
Michaela’s group is that of the soldiers dressed in white skirts and red tunics in the top left picture – she is second from left looking in the direction opposite to the audience.
That is an awesome collage, Dione! Everyone turned out great. I like the shadow of the heads in your photo, makes me feel like I'm right there with you guys. I love, love, love plays and would have really loved to see this one! Can't wait to see what you have for us tomorrow! FAV
