The top part of the clock casing is now ready. I have added my wrist watch to show the size of the clock. What remains of the woodwork are the side carvings and then comes the hardest bit – gilding, which I have never done before and still have to learn how to do.
Today I have been out all morning with my new adopted grandson, Denise’s. He has been with us these last three weeks and he is quite a handful. It was the first time I’ve been out alone with him and we both had a great time.
