Nick is devasted flying back to Malta on his own. He feels the solitude and is no longer very eager to be back home. He misses Jeff immensely and is so worried that Jeff will get in trouble as soon as he leaves him on his own. He stops very frequently on his way north and is very often given to crying. Suddenly he receives an urgent call of help from his friend.
He whispers to himself: “That f***in’ fool had done it again! I knew this would happen in the end.” I can’t abandon him like this.
The story continues tomorrow.
