ALL LIGHTS ON

Another shot from my outing with Ian and his friends at Birgu.
The water of Grand Harbour is alight with the reflections of the lights from the Silver Spirit as it prepares to sail out. I wasn’t there to see her leave harbour – it would have been a great photographic opportunity. The line of ripples have been made by a cabin cruiser going into the yacht marina. I thought it made a nice effect on the reflections.

World Cup: Congratulations to the US for making it to the last 16. This is a first for the US. They lost 1-0 to Germany but I was very surprised the score wasn't higher knowing the strength of the German side. This is a further well done to the US. I actually saw the Portugal vs Ghana match but was switching channels frequently to follow the other match too.
I saw Algeria vs Russia in the late evening. Not a bad game. Algeria made it to the last 16 for the first time, too.
