One last shot from the Msida festa. The activities connected with a parish feast would normally take the whole week, ending with the procession with the patron saint. I went to Msida on Friday night to take my shots. After taking some pictures of the church from different angles, I walked around to capture the lovely decorations along the main street. While focusing on the lights this firework was let off. I wasn’t ready for it but was ready for the next one. And here is the shot. Only one more was let off and I captured it too. These were small fireworks let off from the inhabited area and the only ones I saw. The big fireworks event is normally on the eve of the feast – that is on Saturday but these are let off from areas away from inhabited places.
Waiting excited for the coming week-end when there will be the festa of the parish of Our Lady of Carmel along the Sliema promenade. Hope to take some good fireworks shots.
By the way, there is no celebration in Malta, of whatever size, without fireworks.
Thank you very much for looking and for your lovely comments on yesterday’s picture.
Lucky you to have all these festivals to photography.
