A HAPPY NEW YEAR, 2015, TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND TO ALL THE WORLD.
Present at the Charity swim of last Sunday were this waverunner (is this how it is called?) rescue boat of the Malta Red Cross and a rubber dinghy of the Armed Forces to succour swimmers who may find themselves in difficulty.
There was this blue bouy , too; it served as a marker for the swimmers. Because of the wind it wouldn’t stay erect and the Malta Red Cross rescue boat came into action to upright it. It fell over very soon after and they had to do the operation again later.
Joke: Yesterday I met an old friend of mine and we were talking of old times when he said: “My wife has a terrible habit of staying up 'til two o'clock in the morning. I can't break her of it.” So, very curious, I asked: “What on earth is she doin' at that time?” His reply was:”Waitin' for me to come home.”
