I didn’t go out yesterday because of this cold I have and also because of the cold weather. First thing today, on Christine’s insistence, I am off to the doctor’s. So I’m posting a shot I took some days ago of one branch of my lemon tree. I had the tree heavily pruned by a competent gardener in Mid-January. It needed a good pruning as it had become very shabby. A few days later I saw how the sunlight shone on this branch and I got the camera and took this shot to show those nasty spikes along the branches which could be very dangerous. It’s not the first time I got scratched even on the forehead while picking lemons.
Joke: A sick patient asked his personal physician to visit him as he was feeling very sick.
When the doctor finished examining his chest and before he had a chance to open his mouth, the patient, as if to start a conversation, asked, ''Flu?''
The doctor replied, ''No, I came on my bicycle actually!''
Thank you so much for looking and for the lovely comments on yesterday's picture.
Lovely shot Dione..those thorns look dangerous. They look like nails.I did not know that lemon trees had thorns??? The lighting is really nice in this shot
