Or is it the end?
When will I see you again? When will I see you again?
By the time I took this shot the rainbow was already fading away but I had to take a final shot because I don’t know when I will have the next opportunity.
Joke: Three men awaited execution by firing squad in the condemned cell, from
which the site of their forthcoming ordeal could be clearly seen. They had been thinking and thinking on what to do to escape death.
When his time came, the first man was taken out and made to stand against the wall. As the firing squad raised their rifles, he suddenly shouted "Rainbow!" at the
top of his voice. The soldiers, who had never seen a rainbow before all turned round searching for this phenomenon. Taking advantage of the momentary distraction, the
man scaled the wall and scuttled away as fast as his legs would carry him and escaped.
The second condemned man had watched the first man’s success and raked his mind to find another excuse to divert the soldiers. When his turn came he prepared himself for the worst. As the firing squad was ready he screamed ‘avalanche’ at which all the soldiers dropped their rifles and ran for cover while he made his escape.
It was now the turn of the third man. He felt that he had to have an even better excuse than the other two to be able to distract the soldiers. So as the rifles were raised and fingers curled around the triggers, he shouted "Fire'.
Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments and all the fav's on yesterday's shot. You are all great.
Dione, I have been challenged by my 365 friend, Sue, to post landscapes for the next three days and to challenge three other 365ers to do the same. I am now challenging you. The photos do not have to be current.
Thanks Kathy for the joke.
