Back from Gozo. The weather forecasters were proved completely wrong. We did have a very cold Friday evening but Saturday and Sunday were fine with a slightly chilly breeze and great sunshine to warm us up. It was a very pleasant weekend and I took many shots, too. I will show you some as soon as I load them and sort them out on the computer. In the meantime more shots from my Chadwick Lake walk.
Chadwick Lakes # 7
This cyclist had passed me some time previously along the Chadwick Lakes pathway. He stopped on this bridge to talk on his mobile. He made a cool candid scene which I couldn’t resist capturing.
Joke: Jack and Jill have just climbed Le Alp de Huez, one of the steepest peaks in the Alps on their tandem bike.
"Phew, that was a tough climb" said Jill, leaning over, breathing hard. "That climb was so hard, and we were going so slow, I thought we were never going to make it."
"Yeah, good thing I kept the brakes on," said Jack, "or we'd have slid all the way back down!"
