Shot taken on Good Friday in Gozo.
After a morning going round churches to see Altars of Repose, Christine and I met with Denise, Ian and Max for lunch at Marsalforn. The sun was bright and the sea inviting if a bit choppy. This is one shot I took of the bay.
Up to a few years ago, Marsalforn was a fishing village with some people from towns in Gozo having a summer house where they could spend the summer months. When my children were young we used holiday here at least once a year. Even today. When my children have grown up we are all still very fond of spending some time in Gozo. The place is no longer a summer place only and has many year-round residents.
Joke: While strolling along the promenade in bright sunshine at Marsalforn, Christine asked: 'What do you like most in me, my pretty face or my sexy body?'
I looked at her from head to toe, thought for a few seconds and replied: 'I like your sense of humour!'
My nose is still bleeding, haha.
I like the shot and I enjoyed all the History that went with it as well as the joke. You're the one with the sense of humor and I'm assuming your wife has one as well.
here is grey and wet today
Thank you for you so nice comment on mine.
