Shot taken on Holy Saturday. Back to my narrative on our stay in Gozo during the Easter festivities.
After lunch with Denise and Ian, Christine and I went to Dwejra – a very popular place with tourists and Maltese alike. The area is well known for its beauty.
This is what we Maltese call ‘It-Tieqa’ (English – the window) with the Dwejra Cliffs in the background.
I have posted shots of this place in my first year on 365 and I haven’t been there since then. After 5 years I thought it was worth while to redo the place.
Joke: Two British tourists with their two-year-old son were enjoying the beautiful sunny day at Dwejra when they suddenly realised their son had disappeared. They ran frantically around looking for the boy, very worried that he could have fallen into the sea. Many people joined in the search around the shoreline, and everyone was relieved when the boy was found playing calmly not behind a rock.
"Listen to me," his mother said sharply. "From now on when you want to go someplace, you tell Mommy first, okay?"
The boy thought about that for a moment and said, "Okay. Disney World, please."
Thank you so much for looking and for all the lovely comments and the fav's on yesterday's picture.
Found this on the PP (congrats) and love the fact that people can still explore this beautiful coastline! I live near the Great Ocean Rd here in Australia and they have built pathways etc to view the wondrous sites but we are unable to explore many of them now. Fav & follow
