This is a shot I took after we attended mass in the evening of Saturday, 24th October, at St George’s Basilica in Rabat, Gozo. We were walking through the old streets of Rabat towards the carpark to get the car and drive to Marsalforn for dinner. The place looks scary but I have to say that the Maltese Islands are one of the safest places to go out at any time of the day or night in the whole world. This person was probably returning home after hearing mass.
Joke: Two beat cops call the crime branch on the telephone to give feed back on a homicide case....
Cop: “Hello, Crime branch?”
CB: “Yes.”
Cop: “This is Sgt John. We have a case here.”
CB: “O.k. Where are you?”
Cop: We’re in that narrow street right behind St George’s Basilica”
CB “Do you need assistance?”
Cop: “Not yet. A woman has shot her husband for stepping on the floor she had just mopped.”
CB: “Have you arrested the woman?”
Cop: “No sir. The floor is still wet.”
